Two Months Already
It is over 2 months since Alexander has come to stay. The longer we have Alexander, the more independent he is becoming. Alexander is more a loner than Haimish. I think this is due to Alexander being a "Street Boy" before coming to stay, first at Meow then here.
Alexander is an affectionate cat, but on his terms, unlike Haimish that always seems to be looking for a scratch behind the ears. Haimish came a lot younger in age than Alexander. Alexander is estimated to be 2 - 2 1/2 years old. I guess Vets have a way of estimating.
Alexander spends most of his time sitting in my window. He can stay there all day if I let him. When I take him out of the window, he gets this look that he is not amused. Usually it is when I have to get out the door on an errand, or if the weather is changing.
Must get some new cat wands for the lads. Both cats have totally destroyed the ones I bought when Alexander first came to stay. When Alexander gets into the playing with the wands, he can almost jump as high as I am tall. He is not a big cat, but he has huge muscles in his legs. No doubt from having to defend himself when he was on his own. He has a little scar on his nose, but really no other signs he was a Street Boy.
Just wanted to update everyone.
God Bless

1 Meow{s}:
Hey! I thought I stopped by here every few days to check for a new post -- but I guess I missed a whole week!
Fluffy loves pets and scratches but ever since the burglary he doesn't like to be picked up. Chrissy is a love sponge. She doesn't think there is such anything as too much cuddling.
Neither of my "kids" are much into toys, but they sure like ink pens and bottle caps.
